Product Description

The Rotary Sprinkler is a rotating stream sprinkler designed to provide uniform water distribution over lawns, gardens, parks, nurseries, landscaped areas, and medium-size irrigation zones. Unlike a fixed spray head, which sprays in one stationary pattern, the rotary sprinkler rotates during operation and spreads water more evenly across the irrigated area.

This sprinkler is useful where smoother distribution, moderate pressure operation, and better water efficiency are required. Its rotating arms or internal rotating mechanism help divide the water into moving streams, reducing concentrated water application in one place and supporting more balanced irrigation coverage.

Rotary sprinklers are commonly connected to lateral irrigation pipes using risers, stand pipes, adapters, elbows, tees, or threaded fittings. Several rotary sprinklers can be installed along the same lateral line with proper spacing so that the spray patterns overlap slightly. This overlapping pattern helps achieve more uniform coverage and reduces dry spots between sprinklers.

A typical system includes a water source, pump, filter, mainline, control valve, lateral pipe, riser, and rotary sprinkler head. Clean filtered water is important because dirt, sand, or particles can block the nozzle or reduce rotation performance. Correct pressure is also important: low pressure may reduce the spray radius and rotation quality, while excessive pressure may cause misting, water waste, or sprinkler damage.

This product is suitable for lawns, gardens, parks, flower areas, nurseries, landscape irrigation, sports fields, public green spaces, and medium-size agricultural or demonstration plots. It is especially useful where fixed spray heads may not provide smooth enough distribution or where a wider rotating pattern is preferred.

Key benefits include uniform water coverage, rotating stream distribution, moderate pressure operation, reduced runoff compared with heavy fixed spray, simple installation, compatibility with lateral pipe systems, water-efficient performance, and reliable use in landscape and garden irrigation.

For best performance, install the sprinkler at the correct height on a riser or stand pipe, use proper spacing between sprinkler heads, flush the system before installation, use clean filtered water, check the nozzle regularly, and operate within the pressure and flow range recommended by the supplier. Final nozzle size, spray radius, working pressure, flow rate, connection size, and spacing must be confirmed from the official manufacturer or supplier data sheet before purchase or field installation.

Technical Material Information

Manufacturer / Producer
Produced by professional irrigation sprinkler and landscape irrigation equipment manufacturers. Common producer examples include Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, and other specialized irrigation equipment suppliers. Final brand, model, nozzle type, radius, pressure rating, and technical specifications must be confirmed from the official supplier data sheet.
Manufacturer Note
This product is presented for irrigation training, product guidance, and future supplier connection. The final manufacturer, model, nozzle size, rotation mechanism, spray radius, flow rate, pressure rating, material, connection type, and installation requirements must be verified from the official supplier or manufacturer data sheet before purchase, quotation, or field installation.

Key Benefits

Uniform rotating water coverage; smoother distribution than simple fixed sprays; suitable for medium-size areas; works under moderate pressure; helps reduce runoff; supports efficient landscape irrigation; easy to install; compatible with lateral pipe systems; reliable for gardens, lawns, parks, and nurseries.

Installation Note

Install the rotary sprinkler on a riser, stand pipe, or suitable sprinkler fitting at the correct height. Connect it to a filtered lateral line and maintain proper spacing between sprinkler heads so their spray patterns overlap slightly. Flush the pipeline before installation, check pressure, clean the nozzle regularly, and avoid using dirty water that may block the rotating mechanism.
Material
High-quality engineering plastic body with durable rotating arms or internal rotary mechanism, plastic or metal nozzle parts, rubber seals, threaded connection parts, and corrosion-resistant internal components depending on manufacturer model.
Pipe / Tape Diameter
Common connection sizes may include 1/2″ and 3/4″ depending on sprinkler model, riser size, nozzle type, and irrigation system design. Final size must be confirmed from the supplier data sheet.
Connection Type
Threaded connection, commonly female threaded base connection for riser or stand pipe installation. It may be connected to PVC, PE, or LDPE lateral pipes using risers, tees, elbows, adapters, or sprinkler fittings.
Working Pressure
Typical working pressure may range from about 1.5 to 3.0 bar depending on sprinkler model, nozzle size, spray radius, and manufacturer specification. Final pressure rating must be confirmed from the official supplier data sheet.
Flow Rate
Flow rate depends on nozzle size, operating pressure, sprinkler model, and spray radius. Different nozzle options may require different flow rates, so the final flow value must be confirmed from the official manufacturer or supplier data sheet.
Application
Used for lawns, gardens, parks, nurseries, landscape irrigation, flower areas, public green spaces, sports fields, medium-size irrigation zones, and areas requiring smooth rotating water distribution.
