Scope
Prepare and improve donor reports, concept notes, funding proposals, logical frameworks, budget narratives, presentations and briefing materials. The consultant will maintain reporting trackers, coordinate inputs from technical teams, strengthen quality assurance and capture lessons and good practices from UNICEF Sudan’s WASH response.

Short Description
UNICEF is recruiting an international consultant to strengthen donor reporting, proposal preparation and resource mobilisation for its Sudan WASH programme. The seven-month assignment is home-based and supports humanitarian water, sanitation and hygiene interventions.
Opportunity overview
UNICEF Sudan requires specialised support to produce timely, accurate and results-oriented reports and funding proposals during a major humanitarian and WASH emergency. The consultant will work across the reporting and resource-mobilisation cycle, consolidating programme evidence, validating information, drafting donor-facing documents and ensuring compliance with UNICEF and donor requirements. The assignment also covers knowledge management, strategic communications, reporting templates, deadline tracking and capacity support for WASH personnel.
Requirements and eligibility
Master’s degree in international development, public health, WASH, social sciences, communications or a related subject; at least five years of experience in donor reporting, proposal development and resource mobilisation; excellent English writing skills; familiarity with humanitarian WASH, results-based management and donor formats. UN or international NGO experience is an advantage.
