River Geometry and Reach Characteristics

This page manages the physical properties of each routing reach. The current workspace uses a schematic river display for fast reach setup. Later, this same page can accept GeoJSON or shapefile-derived river lines and automatically calculate reach length, slope, lateral inflow locations, and routing parameters.

Future GIS direction: Real river alignment will be imported as GeoJSON converted from shapefile. The software can later calculate reach length from geometry and store it with slope and roughness.
