Rwandan-based professional water, irrigation, drainage and rural infrastructure engineer with strong experience in water resources development, soil and water conservation, irrigation systems, hydraulic design, rural roads, water supply, greenhouse infrastructure, drainage systems, renewable energy, land husbandry, agroforestry, and EPC project management. He holds an M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in India and a Bachelor degree in Environmental and Rural Engineering with specialization in Water Resources Management from ISAE Busogo, Rwanda. Major Projects and Contributions

• Rurambi Marshland Development Project – 1,050 ha
  Served as Team Leader for detailed design of Rurambi Marshland development, including protection dike design, infield surface irrigation for 1,050 ha, subsurface and surface drainage design, pump capacity sizing, pump operation design and catchment area treatment.
• Gako Farm Development Project
  Served as Chief Advisor Engineer for Gako Farm Development Project, including greenhouse design over 20 ha, drip irrigation system design, drainage system design and supervision, and EPC contract management.
• Kigali Wetland Development Project – Dam Construction Advisory
  Served as Chief Advisor Engineer for eight dam construction works at Kigali Wetland Development Project, including design review, subsurface barrier installation support, dike construction and hydraulic infrastructure advisory services.
• AgriBloom Farm Land Development and Irrigation Infrastructure
  Worked as Water and Rural Infrastructure Expert for AgriBloom Farm land development in Gako Farm, Bugesera District, including drainage design for 199 ha, a 45,000 m3 HDPE-lined water storage reservoir, bulk water supply pipeline, drip irrigation over 166 ha, electrical design support and greenhouse installation.
• RUCENGG LTD – Water Resources, Irrigation and EPC Project Development
  As Chief Engineer and Founder of RUCENGG LTD, led EPC project preparation, feasibility studies, detailed designs, irrigation system design, reservoir sizing, pipe hydraulics, solar pump design, BOQ preparation, construction supervision, pressurized irrigation systems, center pivot installation and farm road design.
• Eastern Guinea Water Resources and Agricultural Development Initiative
  Led development of an EPC project concept for boosting water resources, agricultural development and urban water supply in Eastern Guinea, including water resources analysis, hydraulic design, agricultural water infrastructure planning and investment-oriented project development.
• Gashora Hillside Irrigation and RICA Farm Infrastructure Projects
  Conducted feasibility study and detailed design for Gashora Hillside irrigation at RICA Farm, including irrigation planning, uphill reservoir design, pipe hydraulics, water demand assessment, reservoir sizing, farm infrastructure planning and irrigation system optimization.
• Gabiro Irrigation Project – 5,600 ha
  Worked as Project Engineer at Gabiro Irrigation Project, participating in hydraulic structure design, hydraulic analysis and simulation, greenhouse installation and operation, canal and pipeline hydraulic design, infield drip irrigation demonstration, service and access road supervision, lined canal construction, upland reservoir supervision and GRP pipe installation.
• CGC Irrigation Design Review – Sprinkler, Center Pivot and Drainage
  Served as lead part-time consultant for design review, including hydraulic structure analysis, sprinkler irrigation system design over 200 ha, center pivot design over 1,200 ha, drainage system design, farm electrical power design and feeder road design.
• Rwanda Cross-Border Roads Feasibility and Detailed Design – 213 km
  Served as Team Leader for feasibility study and detailed design of 213 km Rwanda cross-border roads, including alternative road design, pavement design supervision, geometric design, hydraulic and road drainage design, traffic design, economic and financial analysis and ESIA support.
• Bugesera Tannery Park Feasibility and Engineering Design
  Served as Team Leader for Bugesera Tannery Park feasibility study, including tannery design, market assessment, implementation model, engineering and architectural design, water supply and distribution, common effluent treatment plant design, electrical and plumbing design and financial analysis.
• IFC / World Bank Irrigation Specialist Support
  Worked as Irrigation Specialist supporting catchment protection, flood control, gravity and pressurized irrigation design, marshland, SSIT and hillside irrigation project management, terrain modelling, irrigation construction supervision, water resources analysis, hydraulic engineering design, key performance indicators and monitoring and evaluation.
• Kagitumba Center Pivot Irrigation System – 500 ha
  Served as Team Leader and Head of Supervision Mission for Kagitumba center pivot irrigation system, including installation of nine center pivots over 500 ha, sprinkler and drip system commissioning, feeding road construction, land husbandry, intake and diversion headworks, booster tank construction, irrigation layout, hydraulic testing, pumping station and infield drainage.
• Nyamukana, Giseke and Bakokwe Irrigation Projects
  Worked as Rural Infrastructure and Irrigation Engineer for Nyamukana, Giseke and Bakokwe projects, contributing to feasibility studies, detailed irrigation design, gravity and pressurized irrigation planning, terrain modelling, water resources analysis, hydraulic engineering design, irrigation scheduling and land husbandry development.
• University of Rwanda Teaching and Faculty Leadership
  Served as Lecturer of Irrigation and Drainage, Water Supply and Hydraulic Structures Engineering, and as Dean of Faculty, supporting technical education and faculty coordination in irrigation, water supply and hydraulic engineering.
• Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Water Technology Center Research
  Worked as Assistant Researcher at the Water Technology Center, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, focusing on groundwater recharge, groundwater exploration and modelling, rainwater quantification, rainwater harvesting, subsurface basin delineation and micro rainwater harvesting structures.
