Product Description

Full Description:

Drip tape is a flexible, thin-wall irrigation tube designed to deliver water slowly and evenly along crop rows through small built-in emitters. It is one of the most practical and water-saving irrigation materials for vegetables, row crops, greenhouse crops, nursery beds, and smallholder farming systems.

The tape is installed along the crop line, close to the root zone, so water is applied directly where the plant needs it most. This helps reduce evaporation, runoff, weed growth between rows, and unnecessary water loss. Because the system works at low pressure, it is suitable for efficient irrigation where water resources, pumping energy, or operating costs must be carefully managed.

Drip tape is commonly connected to a mainline, submain, or layflat hose using tape-lock fittings, take-off connectors, valves, couplings, and end caps. For proper operation, the system should include filtration and pressure regulation. A filter helps prevent emitter clogging, while a pressure regulator protects the tape from excessive pressure and supports uniform water distribution.

This product is especially useful for teaching and demonstration because it clearly shows how modern irrigation can save water, improve crop growth, and make farming more precise. It is suitable for farmers, students, irrigation technicians, and project planners who want to understand practical drip irrigation in action.

Before purchase or installation, users should confirm the final manufacturer specifications, including diameter, wall thickness, emitter spacing, flow rate, roll length, operating pressure, filtration requirement, and recommended maximum lateral length.
