Книга «Маршрутизация паводков на нерасчетных водосборах с использованием методов Маскингума» посвящена оценке методов паводкового маршрутизирования для речных участков, где отсутствуют прямые гидрометрические наблюдения.
В работе рассматривается применение методов Маскингума и Маскингума–Кунге для оценки расходов и гидрографов стока на нерасчетных речных участках, включая влияние бокового притока. Параметры модели калибруются на основе наблюдаемых данных, после чего метод применяется к неохваченным наблюдениями участкам.
Исследование основано на анализе трех субводосборов в бассейне реки Тугела в Южной Африке с использованием цифровых моделей рельефа, эмпирических уравнений и гидрологического моделирования. Результаты показывают, что откалиброванный метод Маскингума–Кунге способен достаточно точно воспроизводить гидрографы стока и может быть полезным инструментом для инженерной оценки паводков в бассейнах с ограниченными данными.
